August 20, 2019 – TLC Engineering Solutions, Inc. Board of Directors announces 18 new associates in the firm, recognizing their contributions and commitments to TLC. The newly named associates include:
Top Row (Left to Right):
Michael Barrile, PE, Electrical Project Engineer in the Fort Myers office. A graduate of the Milwaukee School of Engineering in 2001, Mike joined TLC in 2012 and has made significant recent contributions to the designs of the award-winning Alfred R. Goldstein Library at the Ringling College of Art and Design, Lee County’s Bonita Springs High School and Manatee County’s Dr. Mona Jain Middle School.
Gates Browne, PE, is a 2009 structural engineering graduate of the Arizona State University who joined TLC in 2018 with extensive experience. His engineering expertise has contributed to the designs for multiple themed-entertainment projects undertaken by the firm’s Cocoa office.
Megan Davidson joined TLC’s corporate staff in Orlando in 2016 as Executive Assistant to TLC’s CEO Michael Sheerin and Jim Ferris, COO, and also served as project manager during construction of the recent renovation of the firm’s Orlando office.
Matthew Drake is an Electrical Engineer in the Tampa office, a graduate of the University of Central Florida who joined TLC in 2015 and has made significant contributions to the VirginTrains (Brightline) Stations in Miami, West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale, as well as Riverwalk Place, a 58-story high rise in Tampa.
Chris Floegel, PE, LEED Green Associate, is a Mechanical Engineer in the Orlando office. A 2011 graduate of the University of Florida, Chris joined TLC in 2014 and contributed to Orlando’s newest high rise, Church Street Plaza, as well as renovations at the Orlando International Airport Ticket Lobbies.
Steve Henderson, PE, joined TLC in 2014 as a Mechanical Engineer, is a graduate of both Broward College and Florida Atlantic University and is in the firm’s Deerfield Beach office. He has engineered public safety projects for the cities of Boynton Beach, Tamarac and Lauderhill.

John Kue, EI, is an Electrical Engineer who joined TLC’s Jacksonville office in 2015. A graduate of the University of South Florida, he has contributed to several healthcare projects for AdventHealth and Baptist Medical systems.
Marcel Manda, PE, joined TLC in 2014, works in the firm’s Fort Myers office and is a graduate of the University Politehnica of Bucharest. His mechanical engineering expertise has contributed to numerous successful projects for Collier County Public Schools and Lee County School District.
Brian McSweeney, PE, is a Structural Engineer in the firm’s Orlando office who joined TLC in 2016. A graduate of the University of Virginia, he earned a Master of Science in civil engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. Brian’s project experience includes multiple healthcare and hospitality projects.
April Miller joined TLC in 2003 and provides administrative support to the Orlando Operating Unit for hospitality, education, office, transportation and development projects.
Melsie Ordonez, PE, CxA, rejoined TLC in 2018 in the firm’s Healthcare practice and is located in the Deerfield Beach office. She worked in the firm’s Jacksonville office from 2000 to 2004. A mechanical engineering graduate of the University of Florida in 1999, Melsie is focused on numerous healthcare projects for the Mount Sinai Medical Center and Baptist Health South.
J.C. Perez is a 1994 graduate of the University of Havana and provides technology designs for projects, working from the firm’s Miami office. He joined TLC in 2016 and is currently working on multiple projects in healthcare, office and transportation.

Ryan Pimentel, PE, joined TLC in 2015 and is a 2006 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University in mechanical engineering. Based in the firm’s Deerfield Beach office, he has worked on multiple projects at Broward Health, Cleveland Clinic, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and other healthcare systems.
Bill Pryse, PE, joined the firm’s Cocoa office in 2015 and has focused his skills on projects for Brevard Public Schools, as well as hospitality projects. He is a 2005 mechanical engineering graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Josh Sashko, EI, CxA, is a mechanical engineer in the firm’s Tampa office, focused on delivering commissioning and energy services for projects predominantly in the hospitality, transportation market sectors. He is a 2003 graduate of the Cleveland State University.
Jamese Spears, PE, is the lead structural engineer in the Tampa office and holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Louisville. She joined TLC in 2015 and works on a wide variety of project types.
Buck Wiseman, PE, joined TLC’s Cocoa office in 2017 as an Electrical Engineer. A 2008 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, Buck has focused on numerous themed entertainment projects in Central Florida.
Peyton Woodroffe develops opportunities for TLC’s Gulf Coast offices in Tampa, Sarasota, Fort Myers and New Orleans. She is a graduate of the Florida State University and joined TLC in 2015.
