Ascension St. Vincent’s Medical Center Clay County
The four-story St. Vincent’s Clay County Hospital is a model of cost- effective energy efficiency for Accession Health Systems. The initial phase of the hospital consists of one floor of diagnostic / treatment spaces and a three-story patient tower, along with master planning for the entire campus, which is planned to include a 200,000 square foot expansion, ambulatory pavilion and medical office building.
The new 7,000 square foot central energy plant (CEP) serves the needs of the three-story St. Vincent’s Clay County Hospital, while providing for future expansion. The hospital achieved an ENERGY STAR score of 97 out of 100, indicating that it is in the top 3% for energy efficiency among similar buildings in a similar environment.
