The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority is committed to providing facilities that are easily maintained, environmentally conscious and financially appropriate. With expansion occurring throughout the existing facility, additional cooling capacity was needed.
TLC engineered the mechanical systems for the new central energy plant. Four chillers of approximately 700-tonrefrigerant each were designed and procured by us. The plant is operating in excess of 10% more efficiently than the existing chilled water plants at the airport, at .79 kW/ton.
