Overview

The three-story headquarters includes holding cells and a sally port, spaces for administration, investigative, patrol and special services. An existing building was repurposed into the crime scene facility, located at the Orlando Executive Airport. It includes a secure property and evidence unit storage, crime scene unit processing labs, training components, and storage spaces.

Features

Energy conservation strategies developed by TLC include occupancy-based lighting control system and LED lamps that use 20% less power than fluorescent lighting, variable refrigerant flow and variable speed drives, and high-efficiency plumbing fixtures that use 25% less water than a comparable building.
