Overview
UCF’s high-tech Classroom 1 was designed to meet the changing needs of today’s schools. The building has space for classrooms, instructional media, staff offices, teaching labs, an anatomy lab and support space.
Features
Sound-isolated classrooms were equipped with state-of-the-art instructional technology and projection systems. Instructor-controlled lighting accommodates both data projection and note-taking. The mechanical and electrical systems were tailored for computer operations, with a variable air volume system enhanced with high-level supply and floor-level exhaust to promote laminar air flow in the anatomy lab. The direct digital control system with electronic temperature control connects to the campus energy management system for efficient monitoring and control.
