Located on a highly-visible site, the three-story building was constructed within a tightly constrained footprint and blends with the “collegiate gothic” architectural style of the surrounding historic campus buildings. The L-shaped facility has student common areas, classrooms, study rooms, a multi-purpose room and a café. A second-floor walkway connects students to Bryan Hall and also forms a landscaped inner courtyard.
TLC provided enhanced commissioning services of this LEED Gold certified building, playing a major role throughout the design, construction and acceptance phases to help achieve the targeted energy performance. We commissioned the mechanical, chilled beams, building envelope, electrical and building automation systems.
