Overview

The three-story Wellness Center includes dedicated group fitness spaces, activity spaces for club sports and free weights. Weight machine space, dedicated spaces for indoor sports, passive activity space, and retail space, facilities for health assessments, counseling and administration are also housed in the center. A main feature of this project is a 32-foot climbing wall.

Features

TLC designed an energy model that showed that the building is 28% more energy efficient than a baseline building. A 37% water use reduction was earned through the use of waterless urinals, low-flow fixtures and motion-activated faucets. We used a BIM Revit model to demonstrate that access to light fixtures could be achieved with a scissors lift for the climbing wall.
