Flagler County Southern Library Phase 1

Overview

Phase 1  focuses on refining the program and master plan while shaping a clear narrative vision for this new community asset. The facility brings together a modern library and a vibrant 10,000‑square‑foot community center designed to serve residents year‑round. In addition to its day‑to‑day role as a hub for learning, gathering, and cultural engagement, the Community Center will also function as a designated hurricane shelter, providing a safe, resilient space for Flagler County during critical times. This phase ensures the project’s goals, functional needs, and community impact are fully aligned as the foundation for design and development.
