The new Coppell Center for the Arts includes three main spaces. The Black Box / Flexible Theater seats up to 160 patrons while the performance hall seats up to 320 patrons. There’s plenty of multipurpose space for rehearsals and community uses. Gallery and studio spaces provide areas for pre-functions, banquets, lectures and concessions.
TLC coordinated design efforts across multiple disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, theatrical lighting and performance appurtenances. Careful consideration and effort was made in coordinating theatrical support and performance systems above the floor ductwork, underground ductwork or through electrical conduit runs. Plasma air filtration systems improve indoor air quality while also minimizing energy costs by reducing the amount of outdoor air that must be introduced into the space.
