Project list

Overview

The state-of-the-art performing arts center houses the 2,700-seat Walt Disney Theater for large-scale performances and the 300-seat Alexis and Jim Pugh Community Theater for smaller, more intimate shows. The center also includes a 1,700-seat acoustical theater, Steinmetz Hall with a moveable stage, walls and floor for optimal acoustics.

Features

The LEED Silver Certified center balances energy and functionality. Energy efficiency is achieved through a high-performance building envelope, variable flow pumping and air handling, and airside energy recovery. A 10-gigabit wireless network provides connectivity throughout the center as well as the outdoor plaza. The acoustical theater has an NC-1 sound rating, which means that virtually no sound or vibration can transfer to or from the theater.
