The school provides general purpose classrooms, specialized classrooms for art, music and computer instruction, along with a gymnasium, multipurpose room, kitchen, information center, administrative offices, teacher workrooms and a media center.

Features

The LEED Silver Certified elementary school is energy efficient and was designed to comply with anti-terrorism / force protection (AT/FP) criteria. Energy models were used to demonstrate compliance with requirements of 30% energy reduction from LEED/ASHRAE 90.1-2007 (DoDEA requirement) and 12% over the ASHRAE 90.1-2010 baseline. The models assisted in evaluating three HVAC system options air-cooled chillers, water-cooled chillers and DX equipment.
