Overview
Conversion of a five-story building with basement into a boutique hotel. Design of support frame for a rooftop generator and additional framing for rooftop mechanical units. Structural detail for new opening in existing wall, framing through existing floor for flue opening, review new framing for revised floor load with new finishes, remove handrail for fall protection around generator. Structural evaluation of new adopted code and implementation of required updates.
