Overview
The Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System, the largest library system in Georgia, embarked on a major renovation and expansion effort to modernize the libraries as well as improve security measures. Divided into two phases, Phase I involved eight new libraries and expansion of two libraries. Phase II consists of the renovation of 22 existing libraries, including the Central Library.
Features
As the technology consultant, TLC assisted Fulton County with Proof of Concept studies, procurement, budget management and requests for proposals related to the technology systems. An important task that TLC completed consisted of the development of content for the wayfinding and video wall installations. Central Library, the library system’s headquarters, features outdoor laser projectors and a leading-edge access control and technology systems.
