Daytona State College Palm Coast Building 3

Overview

Building 3 includes 13 multimedia classrooms and a 70-seat lecture hall modeled after Daytona State’s high-tech “Classroom of the Future” concept. The building’s multimedia classrooms include projectors with interactive white boards, adjustable high-definition televisions with multiple display units, mobile device charging areas and a digital lecture capture system in a classroom featuring dynamic seating. Building 3 also has offices, a conference room, a bookstore, an Internet café and a student lounge.

Features

TLC provided full-service commissioning of the central energy plant, mechanical, lighting control, plumbing and building automation systems. During the design phase, TLC performed a comprehensive design review and provided the design team with commissioning specifications for inclusion in the final project bid documents. The design review comments were addressed by the design team and were all incorporated into the final construction documents.
