Overview
Miami International Airport's North Terminal Development program attained substantial completion in January of 2013, the culmination of many projects to re-invent and expand the 50-year old American Airlines hub - on schedule and with no claims. TLC engineered one of the most complex projects in the Program, the infill of Terminals A to B, a $130 million project.
Features
TLC’s scope included mechanical, electrical and structural engineering for the renovation of 178,000 square feet of space and the addition of 327,000 square feet of new space. A major challenge throughout the project was minimizing interruption to the existing operations, while safely constructing and renovating the facility.
