Features
TLC provided energy modeling services that helped drive decisions affecting the building’s overall energy consumption. The resulting design provides a 14% annual energy savings compared with a similar non-LEED hospital. Sustainable design features include high-efficiency mechanical systems and equipment, low-flow plumbing fixtures that achieve a 40% water reduction and energy-efficient lighting that harvests available daylight to reduce power demand. Two water-cooled chillers and cooling towers meet the 2,140 cooling load.
