University of Florida Indoor Football Practice and Training Facility

Overview

As a top-ranked and growing university in Florida, UF recognized the need to create a state-of-the-art indoor football practice and training facility for its students and staff. The outcome is the UF Indoor Practice and Training Facility, an 89,000 square foot building with a full-sized synthetic turf field, space for trainers, a recruiting lounge, equipment storage and an ice room, along with an additional 10-yard drill area at the north end.

Features

TLC commissioned the mechanical, electrical, lighting and lighting control and plumbing systems for this design-build project. Commissioning this facility provided assurance to UF that the systems and equipment performed as intended, thereby increasing occupant comfort and improving indoor air quality. Commissioning contributed to the facility earning LEED Silver certification.
