Michael Calabrese, PE, LEED AP, CEM joined TLC’s Philadelphia office, bringing 20+ years of experience on successful projects for multiple healthcare systems, the federal government, utility companies, higher education institutions and private clients. Michael took a less direct path to becoming a mechanical engineer, working as a union electrician before attending Temple University where he began in electrical engineering. As he studied, he shifted to mechanical as he embraced the many challenges of solving building HVAC system design. His field experience benefits TLC clients, assuring that designs are constructible and efficient. Michael is engaged in shaping the industry through leadership roles in multiple ASHRAE committees.
