Overview

Advanced diagnostics and cutting-edge technology make AdventHealth’s 15-story Ginsburg Tower one of Central Florida’s premier hospitals. The tower is the realization of the hospital’s master plan, for which TLC also engineered. Ginsburg Tower houses the AdventHealth Cardiovascular Institute, with 200 patient beds and room for 240 future beds. The emergency department’s design accommodates an estimated 90,000 annual visits.

Features

A new energy/office building supports the needs of the campus. It houses two 2,000-ton chillers to serve the cooling needs of the new tower. Five new 2,250-kW generators with three 40,000-gallon fuel oil tanks provide backup power for the entire campus during emergencies. A separate 40,000-gallon fuel tank serves the 800-hp high-pressure steam boiler. TLC engineered a robust structured cabling distribution using both fiber optic and copper cabling.
