Overview
The 248-bed hospital offers full inpatient services, including an emergency department, surgery, imaging and radiology, outpatient clinics and women’s services, as well as a laboratory and kitchen. A teaching and training building, located adjacent to the hospital, supports education for nursing, pharmacology and optometry.
Features
The hospital is served by a central energy plant with three 500-ton chillers and two 1,500-kW generators. There is an on-site water storage tank with a 65,000-gallon capacity along with thermal solar hot water heating for improved energy efficiency. A wastewater treatment plant is also on campus.
