Florida Atlantic University Recreation and Wellness Center

Overview

As the hub of FAU’s Boca Raton Campus, the Recreation and Wellness Center provides a central gathering place and enhances the sense of tradition, pride and college life. The center includes a state-of-the-art fitness center, workout and locker rooms, juice bar, gymnasium, member lounge, storage room, studio, restrooms, electrical room, and an outdoor pool and deck.

Features

Serving the building’s cooling needs is a custom-built chilled water air handling unit that is connected to campus-wide chilled water system. Space heating is provided through the central hot water system. TLC also provided power and plumbing to the pool.
