Overview
The new LEED Gold® certified Amway Center is home to the Orlando Magic and the site of major concerts, entertainment and sporting events, providing more than 800,000 square foot of space on seven levels and four concourses.
Features
TLC was the Green Champion for the Events Center, throughout design and construction. We provided LEED consulting and commissioning. Sustainable features include energy savings of 18.2% when compared to a non-LEED building, water savings of 1.3 million gallons through the use of low-flow fixtures and faucets, and 8,000 tons of construction waste diverted from the landfill.
