Overview
Kit and Ace, an upscale clothing company based in Canada, undertook targeted expansion in the United States, focusing on new retail operations in Boston, Miami, Bethesda, Milwaukee and Greenwich, including other locations. With an average pace of a four-week design window and eight weeks of construction, the project moved at a fast pace, allowing Kit and Ace to rapidly expand.

TLC designed each of the new stores to achieve a 60% reduction in site Predicted Energy Usage (PEUI) against a regional average site PEUI, or for interior-only build outs, a minimum of 25% reduction in Lighting Power Density from ASHRAE 90.1-2007, in support of Kit and Ace's emphasis on sustainability.
