Mac V. Horton West County Annex

Overview

Charlotte County selected TLC to engineer the Mac V. Horton West County Annex to better serve the growing population of West Charlotte County. The 20,000 square foot annex more than doubles the size of the original annex, replacing the previous 25-year-old facility that had experienced significant building systems issues resulting in inefficient building operations.

Features

The single-story facility houses several county offices and departments under one roof, including the supervisor of elections and property appraiser, tax collector, social services, human services department and utility department as well as the commissioner’s office. There is also a non-profit health clinic, providing healthcare services to those in need.
