The two-story facility houses office space, converted from former lab space, for ORNL’s Environmental Sciences Division.

TLC’s energy auditing and retro commissioning of the Oak Ridge National Laboratories Building 1059 played a crucial role in helping the building achieve LEED® for Existing Buildings Operations and Maintenance Gold certification. Sustainable design features include daylight harvesting, occupancy sensors and a heat pump water heater that provides cooling in the summer.
