Overview
TLC engineered the core and shell and tenant buildout of the 25-story, mixed-use building consisting of a nine-story parking garage with 650 spaces, a 110,000 square foot, 180-room hotel with an amenity level and 205,000 square feet of office space spanning seven stories. Ground-level retail, a café and the phased completion of an integrated SunRail station create an urban environment that brings convenience to tenants and guests alike.
Features
TLC designed the HVAC systems to meet the varying needs of the conditioned areas. A dedicated air handling unit conditions each of the office space floors. High-rise buildings such as this one require an effective smoke control system to keep occupants safe in the event of a fire or life safety emergency. With this in mind, TLC designed the stairwells designated for emergency building evacuation to be positively pressurized.
