The center offers a 4,900 square foot ground level banquet hall, a 900 square foot upper level mezzanine and a spacious terrace for festive, open-air gatherings. The grand foyer is ideal for pre-function activities. Adjacent to the building is a new 2,000 square foot full-service catering kitchen.
Features
Conservation of resources is the essence of Jekyll Island and a main focus for this facility. The new air conditioning system consists of two large heat pumps located on the mezzanine. Preconditioned air is delivered through a separate unit to maintain proper humidity levels. Special attention was given to light fixtures that could impact turtle nesting on the adjacent beachfront. A leading-edge sound system, engineered for optimum acoustics, serves the Morgan Center’s grand spaces.
