The Oaklander Hotel

Overview

The Oaklander Hotel, located near the University of Pittsburgh campus, is a new 10-story boutique hotel that is part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection. The hotel features 167 guest rooms that range from 324 to 930 square feet, housing five event spaces, a fitness center, a restaurant, a lounge, and a business center.

Features

TLC was responsible for coordination and integration of the low voltage systems. Systems included voice-data, guestroom management, bulk television, and point-of-sale systems. TLC also coordinated audio-visual requirements for the ballroom and meeting rooms. All systems were designed in accordance with Marriott Brand standards and coordinated for proper conditioned power and environmental requirements. The design team coordinated closely with the interior design group to verify proper placement of devices and equipment, with respect to the unique furnishings and interior treatments.
