After more than two decades of dedicated service, Bill Daly, Chief Financial Officer and TLC Icon, is retiring, leaving behind a legacy of leadership, integrity, and financial stewardship. Over his 21 years with the firm, Bill played a pivotal role in guiding the organization through periods of growth, challenge, and transformation. His steady leadership and strong business acumen helped build a solid financial foundation while guiding TLC’s growth on a national scale.
Bill joined the firm in 2003 and quickly became a trusted advisor to leadership, project managers, and teams across the company. Known for his collaborative approach, respect for people at every level, and sharp sense of humor, Bill brought both professionalism and personality to his role. He was also widely regarded as the best MC host for TLC’s monthly Assembly events, where his wit, warmth, and ability to connect with audiences helped bring the firm together. His commitment to TLC’s culture is reflected not only in his leadership, but also in seeing the Daly name continue at the firm, with his son, Joe, contributing to TLC and carrying forward a meaningful family connection to the organization.

Bill experienced and made firm-wide impact during the best of times and other times. From 2003 to 2006, TLC realized explosive growth of over 50%, peaking at over 400 staff at that time. During the Great Recession and a downturn economy, he was a steady hand and adviser through challenging times. Since 2015, TLC has established itself as a national presence through a mix of organic and acquisitive growth, doubling in size and revenue while maintaining a rock solid balance sheet guided by his fiscally smart approach. Steven Vandenbossche has been brought into TLC as his successor in the CFO role, with ongoing transition to ensure undisrupted continued operations.
A proud Florida State University graduate, Bill earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from FSU and has remained a lifelong supporter of the Seminoles. His passion for FSU athletics is well known, and in retirement he is looking forward to attending more Seminoles games and cheering them on in person. Garnet and gold will continue to be a staple in Bill’s wardrobe as he embraces this next chapter.

In retirement, Bill is excited to spend more time with his wife, Kimberly, and family, to travel, and enjoy the flexibility that comes with stepping away from a demanding professional role. While he will be deeply missed, his influence will continue through the teams he built, the systems he strengthened, and the moments of laughter he brought to the organization. We thank Bill for his years of service and leadership and wish him the very best in retirement, especially from the stands on game day.
