February 24, 2020TLC Engineering Solutions, Inc. announces that Gage Consulting Engineers has joined the TLC team, expanding the presence and capabilities of TLC to Gage’s Oak Brook, Illinois, location. Gage’s expertise in health care, education, municipal and commercial building engineering complements TLC’s major market sectors, expanding TLC’s geographic markets. All employees of Gage are joining TLC immediately as they continue to support their current clients and projects with TLC’s expanded infrastructure and disciplines. Gage clients will benefit from the capability and resources of the 400-person TLC team, including strengths in technology design, licensed fire protection engineering, building commissioning, acoustics and structural engineering.

TLC CEO Michael P. Sheerin explained, “When we met the Gage team, it was evident that their culture, experience and people aligned very well with TLC and our core values. We admire what they have accomplished in 25 years and are excited to have them join us in building the future of TLC. David McVey, PE, and Steven Nargang, PE, become new shareholders in TLC and John Bouse, PE, becomes Principal Emeritus at TLC, with Donald Peterson, PE, Bob Chen, PE, and Eric Carlson, PE, joining TLC as Associates.
