Overview

Envisioned as the hub of downtown Orlando, 55 West features 22 stories of apartments and 75,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space adjacent to a sprawling courtyard with oak trees and fountains. The tower’s 14th floor opens into a resort-style pool deck and spa and features an outdoor bar and grill, pet park, and lounging area. Nearby restaurants, shops, and other amenities contribute to the upscale neighborhood atmosphere.

Features

The energy-efficient HVAC systems are designed to maximize efficiency, indoor air quality, and ease of maintenance, while serving the diverse spaces. Power for the public spaces in the office tower is supplied from OUC pad-mounted transformers and distributed vertically through the building. Structural engineers used computer analysis and 3-D modeling to help them design effective systems while minimizing construction costs.
