Austin Peay State University Maynard Mathematics & Computer Science Building

Overview

The two-story classroom building houses the university's math and computer science programs. The facility includes two lecture halls, six large classrooms and 30 offices as well as a two-story atrium. A Tier 3 data center is also housed in the building.

Features

Building systems engineered by TLC include air-cooled chillers, a hot water boiler and a lighting control system for 90% of occupants, yielding a lighting power density of 1.2 s/sf. We also provided voice-data and security design for the data center, along with an uninterruptible power supply and diesel-powered emergency generator to provide backup power.
