Overview

The first floor of the new fire station provides three apparatus bays and a laundry for use by the firefighters. A separate gated entrance provides access to durable public restrooms, located close to both covered and open public seating areas. The second floor offers a large commercial grade kitchen, six sleeping rooms, day room fitness center, dining / conference room and other support spaces.

Features

TLC engineered the apparatus bays with a high / low exhaust system to manage vehicle exhaust, with a toxic gas detection and purge system. Sustainable features that were based on our energy models include interior and exterior LED fixtures, occupancy sensors, sunshades on windows to reduce solar heat gain and a variable refrigerant flow mechanical system.
