TLC led the technology and security design effort for services for the 750,000 sf terminal renovation and concourse addition at Dallas Love Field. New construction included 20 new gates, a new concourse, and ticketing wing with renovated lobby, security checkpoint, and new baggage claim area. The project was completed in six phases to keep the terminal operational during construction. Systems included premise wiring distribution; voice and data network; cellar DAS; access control and monitoring; video surveillance; content management/EVIDS; MATV; UHF/VHF radio; intercom; and duress alarm. The team completed existing conditions survey, stakeholder interviews, phasing and enabling projects, detailed design, construction documents, and construction support services
TLC designed the following systems: Premise Distribution System (PDS), Voice and Data Network, Cellular Distributed Antenna System (DAS), Wi-Fi, Access Control System (ACS), Video Surveillance, Electronic Visual Information Display Systems (EVIDS), Master Antenna Television (MATV), UHF/VHF Radio, Intercom, and Duress Alarm.
TLC designed the relocation and/or replacement of the Airport’s main distribution frame (MDF) housing security system’s head-ends and the center-point for much of the terminal’s fiber plant.
