Overview

The building includes two new 2,000-ton chillers that serve the cooling needs of the tower and work with the chillers at the existing plant to backfeed the main hospital. The chillers are fed from the utility power at 4160 volts, resulting in smaller feeder sizes and more efficient equipment. A separate 40,000-gallon fuel tank serves the 800-hp high-pressure steam boiler.
