Lab space for bench and translational research spans 40,000 square feet, with 27,000 square feet allocated to wet labs.

Features

The design achieved a 42% reduction in energy compared to the ASHRAE 90.1-2007 baseline, keeping the building on track to attaining the LEED Silver certification goal. A sophisticated lighting control system with occupancy sensors, air-to-air energy recovery, low-flow plumbing fixtures and low-flow fume lab hoods contribute to the building’s energy efficiency.
