Overview
In 2019, Rollins College leveled the former McKean Hall near Lake Virginia to prepare for the new Lakeside Neighborhood student housing complex. This 250,000-square-foot, five-story facility is situated on the southeastern shoreline of the Rollins College campus, with beautiful views of Lake Virginia and easy access to the campus. The dorms are focused on community and wellness, offering students private personal space surrounded by collaborative communal spaces. The complex features a fitness center and movement studio, a market and café, outdoor space, and pool plus offices for some campus organizations like the Office of Residential Life & Explorations and the Center for Inclusion & Campus Involvement.
