Overview

Lockheed Martin’s six-story Research & Development II building houses its Missiles and Fire Control and Rotary and Mission Systems divisions and has plenty of space for 1,000 employees. Open offices, break rooms, conference rooms, a training room and server rooms are all included in the new building.

Features

The project included three phases—a 225,000 square foot core and shell phase, a 171,000 square foot tenant improvement phase, and a conference center phase. Design-build resulted in enhanced coordination and in meeting the aggressive goal of completing the project in just under one year.
