Mount Sinai Medical Center Irma and Norman Braman Comprehensive Cancer Center
Overview
New five-story greenfield cancer treatment center featuring 50 exam rooms, 50 infusion bays, 3,000 square feet of lab space, imaging, and radiation oncology with three linear accelerators and a shelled HDR. The facility houses a breast center with a CT, two X-rays, six ultrasounds, MR, PET-CT, four mammography units, and a DEXA scan. Patient areas are oriented toward views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline to promote a healing environment. Equipment upgrades to the existing campus CEP support the facility by adding 1,500 tons of cooling.
