Orange County Convention Center Phase V
Overview
The Orange County Convention Center Grand Concourse Expansion (Phase V) is driven by the need to accommodate growing demand for larger, more flexible event spaces and to keep pace with the evolving needs of the meeting and events industry. The project focuses on making the North-South Building more functional, flexible, and easier to navigate for both guests and event organizers. Adding space that can handle larger events while also supporting a variety of meeting and event needs was a priority.
The expansion also brings improvements to both the east and west side of the facility. The east side introduces a new multipurpose venue with supporting spaces, while the west side includes additional meeting rooms, ballroom space, restrooms, and improved circulation areas. Public upgrades such as streetscape enhancements, utility relocations, and a new walkway connecting the North and South buildings help tie the campus together. Overall, the project strengthens the convention center’s ability to attract major events and reinforce Orlando’s position as a leading destination for conventions and large gatherings.
