Overview

TLC’s role includes analyzing energy usage for all 17 buildings to determine which ones meet LEED’s Energy and Atmosphere prerequisite 2 (EAp2), Minimum Energy Performance, that is needed to qualify for LEED EBOM certification. TLC is also analyzing indoor and outdoor water use.

Features

TLC is demonstrating a minimum energy-efficiency performance improvement of 25% to satisfy the EAp2 credit in cases where a building’s ENERGY STAR score is not available due to an ineligible property type. This process involves comparing each building’s site energy data for the previous 12 months with the data from three contiguous years of the previous five.
