University of Wisconsin Health Eastpark Medical Center Project
Overview
University of Wisconsin’s Ambulatory Facility is a new six-story building on Madison’s east side. The facility includesto include 22 emergency department rooms, 22 flexible care beds and 48 inpatient rooms. The second project, at East Madison Hospital, is designed to add six operating rooms, 40 recovery rooms, 20 rooms for post-anesthesia care, 14 flexible care rooms, 20 emergency department rooms and four care rooms that can be shared between the emergency department and medical imaging. TLC services provided on this project include medical equipment budgeting, specification of new equipment, and Revit equipment placement drawings. The LEED-certified building generates a considerable amount of its power onsite through the utilization of solar panels and other green energy generation.
