Overview
A new and innovative park that includes trails linking to downtown businesses, a performance area for festivals and athletic competitions, as well as a 40′ tall viewing platform and a pavilion and restroom facilities. The City has increased the feasibility of development in the area, as well as creating a new recreation venue.
Features
The project included a stormwater runoff retention system that was designed to filter out pollutants flowing into Lake Minneola. TLC provided structural engineering services that included designing systems for retaining walls and weir structures, vehicular bridge, pavilion with office area and stage, restroom facilities, observation tower, and boardwalks.
